The famous American songwriter Justin Timberlake is now in the fire and a bigger center of attention among the fans, right after significant revelations about their previous relationship with Britney Spears came out.
Well, it was not an intentional revelation about the relationship details. However, things were revealed to the public when the exclusive clip from a forthcoming Impact x Nightline episode revealed a few details taken from “The Woman In Me,” a book written by Britney Spears.
Behind ‘Overprotected: Britney Spears Shot Video Post Justin Timberlake Breakup Text
Chirs Applebaum, who directed the shooting of the Overprotected music video, shared more behind-the-scenes details. Applebaum, in the interview, recalled the situation before the shoot of the music video, she said:
“I walk into her trailer, and Britney’s not dressed for the next scene,” Applebaum recalls. “She’s not ready, her hair and makeup isn’t ready. She’s still in a Juicy Couture sweatsuit, and I could immediately tell something was wrong. I asked her if everything was OK, and she said, ‘No, things are not OK, because look,’ and she held out her flip phone and I saw this text which said, ‘It’s over,’ which was from her boyfriend at the time, Justin Timberlake.”
Applebaum here revealed about Spears facing the breakup where during the shoot, she went to meet Spears and found that she wasn’t ready for the next shoot. Be it form her to makeup, nothing was ready.
However, Applebaum shared that she could easily find something wrong with her, and that’s when she asked Spears, for which Spears showed her phone to the director showing Timberlanke’s breakup text.
The news shattered spears, but things weren’t the same during the shoot! “It seemed like that was the end of the video shoot, and I acknowledged that with everybody,” Applebaum shared. “But, on the other hand, if you feel like you wanna get out there and show him that he just lost the best thing that he ever had, let’s do it. Ten to 15 minutes later, she came out and she was on fire. This was the Britney that everybody knows and loves.”
As per Applebaum’s statement, she thought that this could be the possible end of the production of the music, but after a gap of 10-15 minutes, Spears came already by herself, and she was just on fire, which of course you can see in her music video.
