One of the reasons behind the success of the Good Burger franchise was the performance set by Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. However, it’s over a decade since we got to see the show and stars of the show, but now, all the 90s people will be getting a chance to see their favorite faces on the show again on screens.
In a recent interview with Variety featuring Thompson, he was asked about his arrival for Good Burger 2. The star shared that “one million percent” he will be continuing to work with his buddy, Mitchell.
“It would be only right for us to continue to go explore what Kenan and Kel could have been when we were in our 20s when we left Nickelodeon and decided to try to figure it out, instead of just automatically doing the Abbott and Costello thing,” Thompson says. “Now that we’re older and sharper and wiser and this that and the other, we can do it at such a high level on so many different outlets or whatever. We know so much now. There’s so many different parts to the business. There’s so many different opportunities and we’re just ready to tackle all of that. So it’s very exciting, I think, especially when we’ll be able to own it.”
The duo stars have been working together since a lot time! First they have worked together casting for first four seasons of the Nikelodeon’s sketch comedy, All That after which Good Burger was originated.
