The new announcement of not continuing with Top Gear Airing was brought to light by the public production house of the show, BBC. 

The statement by the production shares that the shoe won’t be continuing to air due to its “foreseeable future.

BBC Shuts Down Top Gear TV Show Due to the Foreseeable Future Circumstance – What Does It Mean?

The statement by the production house brought a whole new disruption in the auto tech world, leaving all the fans stunned. 

As fans are stunned by such a huge announcement, the production house, BBC, shared that the show had faced a huge crash in December after the face of the show, Andrew Freddie Flintoff, faced severe injuries.

As the face of the show wasn’t there to air for the automobile show, the BBC decided to halt the production of Top Gear TV in March this year, expecting Andrew to make a comeback soon. 

After a few months, the production giant stopped the show’s airing. BBC stated: “Given the exceptional circumstances, the BBC has decided to rest the UK show for the foreseeable future… We know resting the show will be disappointing news for fans, but it is the right thing to do.

All other Top Gear activity remains unaffected by this hiatus, including international formats, digital, magazines, and licensing,” the BBC statement said.

Andrew Freddie Flintoff’s Accident Led to the downfall of Top Gear TV

Top Gear TV Show has been airing for a long time, with 45-year-old Andrew Freddie Flintoff as the show’s host. However, things changed after the former England Cricketer and show host faced an accident while performing on Top Gear’s test track in Southern England. 

Post the accident, doctors reportedly shared that Flintoff was lucky to survive the accident. The Former cricket player has settled with BBC for a settlement amount of 9 Million pounds, which reflects $11.21 Million with BBC Studios.
