Nominations for CMA Award 2023
Lainey Wilson won five nominations for the year. The American singer was among the top nominees for the award, with over nine nods for the “Single of the Year.”
Wilson also became the first-ever artist in the last 13 years, with two nominations for “Single of the Year” for the same year. Reports share that her album hits, including “Heart Like a Truck” and her featuring for HARDY’s “Wait in the Truck,” landed a nomination for the award.
Alongside Wilson are stars like Jelly Roll, among the celebrities who got nominations. The star landed five nominations this year, including “New Artist of the Year” and “Male Artist of the Year.”
Other stars, including Luke Combs and HARDY, were nominated for four awards. Jordan Davis, Ashley McBryde, producer/mix engineer Joey Moi, songwriter-producer Jordan Schmidt, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, and musician/producer Derek Wells got three nominations.
